  • Siding and entry doors cleaned
  • Gutters cleaned & debris from roof
  • Landscaped beds weeded, new mulch or rake the old mulch
  • Touch up any weathered trim paint, especially around front door
  • Edge lawn
  • Trim shrubbery and any tree branches touching the home
  • Wash all windows inside & out
  • Garage should be neat & clean
  • Remove all rust stains on concrete or downspouts
  • Wood decking should be cleaned & stained
  • Replace /repair any visible loose or broken shingles
  • Plant flowers in season
  • Divert all water away from house; grade must slope away from structure


  • Declutter, even in closets
  • Lights on & window shades or drapes open
  • Clean all carpets
  • Remove all wallpaper
  • Refinish hardwood if necessary
